Seaport Enhanced (Seaport-e)

Geodesicx was awarded a Seaport-e Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract award to perform engineering, technical, and programmatic support in Zone 1 – 7. This U.S. Navy award opens the door for Geodesicx to compete for service requirements solicited by Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Air Systems Command, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, Naval Supply Systems Command, Military Sealift Command, Naval Facilities Command, Strategic Systems Programs, the Office of Naval Research, and the U.S. Marine Corps. These service requirements span a wide range of engineering, technical, and programmatic services. The government estimates a maximum of $5,300,000,000 of services will be procured per year via orders issued under the Seaport-e multiple award contracts. The award has a four-year base period with one five-year award term.

Quality Assurance

The Geodesicx Quality Assurance (QA) Program is registered to ISO 9001:2015 and is also built on the requirements of the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Maturity Level 3. It is embedded in every activity of the technical life cycle from contract start-up through completion. Our QA Program consists of an extensive set of documented procedures and supporting materials that provide direction for the performance and control of Geodesicx’s day-to-day operations. The program provides processes and procedures for project and process management, technical engineering, and support. Planned and systematic actions are performed to provide confidence that the processes and products satisfy our contract or task order requirements. We plan, develop, and implement a quality assurance plan (i.e., process audits, product assessments, corrective actions, and customer interface) that embraces the entire life cycle from requirements definition through implementation and follow-on support.
